You’re right; npower didn’t participate in the Energy Demand Research Project trials.
We do however, have our own set of smart meter trials in operation and Time of Use tariffs are one of the ways of using smart meters we’ve been looking at.
I can’t say for sure whether we’ll be offering Time of Use tariffs when we start rolling out smart meters, but it’s certainly something we’ll consider.
