19 Aug '10: When submitting a meter reading online it would be nice to be able to see the previous reading and the difference to the current reading to reduce the risk of a mistake. In fact it would be nice to see a table of (perhaps) the last 24 readings so that customers can view their usage history. I currently use a spreadsheet for this. I notice that other energy companies display the previous meter readings as standard. Is there any chance of this being introduced by npower? Perhaps a history page or a downloadable spreadsheet of the last 24 readings?

I'm sorry but we can't currently automatically show your previous meter readings when you submit a new one.

However, we've introduced a new online tool, Energy Tracker, to help you record your electricity use over time - just click on the following link www.customerservices.npower.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/285. Please note it's currently for electricity customers with standard meters, but do keep an eye out for gas and Economy 7 electricity versions in the future.
