14th Dec: Why do you give an annual discount rather that quarterly or monthly? You seem to be the only company who do this?! Also, I have a smart meter now. Can I still change?

Castro, cost savings are achieved where customers pay consistently by an efficient, automated payment method - such as monthly direct debit.  Such savings would reduce if customers switched between payment methods periodically and it's for this reason we offer the discount annually to encourage and reward that constancy. It is possible for you to change tariff (and suppliers) if you've had a smart meter fitted as all energy suppliers should be able to read them.
