We're able to offer a discount to anyone who pays by direct debit as it costs us less to look after a direct debit account and we feel that it's only fair that we pass this saving on to our customers. Sometimes, we may need to adjust your payments to allow for changes in your energy use or to cover a change in a tariff price. However, we would never change the amount you pay without letting you now beforehand - we will always give you at least 10 working days notice if we need to change your Direct Debit payments.
