02 Feb: Why can't npower customers have quarterly statements rather than making them wait for 6 months when paying via direct debit? I feel that if they had a bill statement after 3 months and if they are in debt they can manage things easier and increase their payments slightly. With the 6 monthly statements it can come as a shock - especially after the winter we have just had.

A statement every six months gives us a better idea of your energy use over a longer period - it'll also coincide with our reassessment of your monthly payments.

It's important to let us have regular meter readings so you are only paying for the energy you're actually using. However, if you think you may be paying too little or too much, just contact us and we can review your account for you - particularly if your circumstances have changed (new appliances etc).
