Our Spreading Warmth Tariff helps people who are over 60, disabled, chronically sick, or have one or more children under 16, and who have a low household income. Due to high demand, access to the tariff is restricted to referrals from trusted third party agencies so we're unable to accept applications directly from customers at the moment.
However, there are other ways we can help - you can register for our Warm Response Service, which offers extra services for people who are disabled, chronically sick or over 60 years of age. You may also be eligible for free cavity wall and loft insulation if you receive certain benefits - if you're unsure if you are eligible, we can also check your benefits entitlement for you.
There is also a government funded scheme called Warm Front, which concentrates on households at risk of ill health because they live in cold homes. If you need help paying for heating and insulation improvements, you may be able to get up to £3,500 from the scheme.
