05 Jul '10: I am currently on your Sign Online 17 tariff and am very happy with this partly because it is competitive but mainly because it is easy for me to understand. Do npower have any plans to have simpler tariffs generally? As I feel this would give them a unique selling point over rivals. Almost nobody understands gas bills in particular so why not take the lead on this issue. From what I've seen of smart metering tariffs they are more complicated :(

We’re always looking to improve the way we talk to our customers - including how our bills look. In February this year, we launched our new style bill, which received the Plain English Campaign’s Crystal Mark. It's very clear and easy to read, with the front page summary now simply showing: account details, customer reference number, exactly how much the customer owes or is owed, whether the bill is estimated or based on a meter reading and emergency contact details.
