14th Sept: What was your response to the open letter OFGEM sent regarding your standard gas and electricity prices being too high? Surely OFGEM have the wholesale figures to be able to say you with confidence what the public already knows; that energy suppliers are overcharging their customers. If the market was truly competitive and if we had an ombudsman that could bite and not just bark, then the consumer would have had lower prices months ago.
