Once you have been paying your bill by direct debit for 12 months a credit will be applied to your account. You will be able to see this credit on your next statement – which may be due up to six months from the date of the credit. This means that the credit will always be applied after twelve months, but you may not see it on your statement until 18 months from the start of your direct debit payments.
