If you are paying too much by direct debit then we will reduce your payments with immediate effect (with your agreement). However, although your account may be in credit – it does not necessarily mean that your direct debit payments are too high. This is because the amount of energy you use will vary throughout the year – so your account will be in credit at some times and debit at others. So long at the balance at the end of the year is zero, the level of direct debit is correct.
Please Email customer service or call 08451 201 453 to find out if your direct debit level needs adjusting following your meter readings. If it does they will do this with immediate effect.
