26 May: I seem to be using a lot of fuel for a household of one as opposed to a household of four. How can I have the meter checked in order to detect any possible faults?

If you genuinely believe that there is a fault with your meter, you should contact customer services and they will investigate it for you. It is important that you are paying the right amount for the energy that you use.
