15th Dec: I received a letter from e.on regarding my meter. The letter stated that my meter was out of date and needed to be changed urgently but when I called them I was told they had no engineers to do the work in my area. I am an npower customer.

Carter, even though npower is your energy provider, we don't own the meters in your property as they're owned by your distributor. As you live in the West Midlands, your distributor is e.on (under the distribution name Central Networks) and they're responsible for changing your meter. If you call e.on on 0800 096 3080, they'll be able to help you - and book an appointment for you at your convenience.
