23 Jun: I have an Economy 7 meter and currently am on an Economy 7 tariff. However I would like to switch to a standard tariff as explained on your own website: [see npower FAQ article in related links] I've been told my meter needs to be changed which seems very silly when it's so simple to just combine both readings (night and day) to work out my total energy consumption. And what if I wanted to go back to an Energy 7 tariff in the future? Will my meter have to be changed again?
26 May: Our meter has day and night units counters. Most electricity we now use is between 8 am and midnight. Would a standard unit throughout be cheaper than the daytime tariff we are charged now? If yes, would it be possible to change to the standard tariff?

18th Jan: Hello, I am contemplating an air source heat pump for hot water and underfloor heating. These are most efficient if the outside air temperature is warmer i.e. not at night. Unfortunately, very few service providers have Economy 10. Will your adoption of smart meters herald a re-introduction of Economy 10 or a similar tariff?
